On February 24, 2022, russia started a full-scale war against Ukraine, attacking the capital as well as administrative centers such as Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Dnipro, Zhytomyr, etc. with missiles. For more than two months now, russia has been destroying the infrastructure and housing of the eastern and central parts of our country, destroying the economy and trying to destroy our nation, but instead the unbroken spirit is only getting stronger! During the war, we could not stand aside from other people's grief, thus have provided and keep on providing assistance to those who need it!

Accommodation for people in Ternopil
The first refugees arrived in Ternopil on February 25. It was a family from Kharkiv with 3 children. Their house was bombed on the first day of the war. Initially, the resettlement took place in the public catering establishment "Лисий". The staff organized free meals for the refugees who were able to reach us. On February 27, the number of refugees housed there exceeded 50 and later grew up to 250 people, so it was decided to create a social project to help refugees. The partners provided us with a warehouse of the furniture factory with an area of approximately 800 sq.m. After cleaning the premises, it was purchased all needed materials, arranged the places for rest as well as children's area. As the war continues and refugees are still coming to us, we keep on purchasing food, hygiene products and medicines to support people.

Because of the war - factories and plants where people worked are also being destroyed or started their relocation to western Ukraine. We expect about one million families will need housing. Our main idea: Dignity under any circumstances. We organized a working group, which included the partnership of NGO "Made in Ukraine", Architectural and Design Bureau Belbek, CF "Ukrainian Family", NGO "Faine.UA", Zbarazh ATC, Ternopil RMA, FB "Bank Globus".It was held the negotiations with factories - manufacturers of frame and modular buildings. Today there are facilities to build 4-5 thousand square meters per month, which makes it possible to implement the first stage in two or three months. Thus, the first residents can start living there within the first month. Zbarazh ATC has already offered a land plot, Belbek Bureau has already linked the project to the land plot, developed the budget documentation and allocated the first stage of construction. As of today, it has been started the collection of resources from the donators - funds, construction materials, equipment, etc.

Work within the Community Council of Ternopil
The co-operation of the Head of the ICF "Ukrainian Family" Nataliia Kindratska in the Community Council of the Ternopil Regional State Administration in three terms during 2016-2022 was to represent the public in the profile committees of the Ternopil Regional State Administration.As a member of the Board of the Community Council, Nataliia had the opportunity to influence the decisions of the Council and provided support to other civil society institutions. As a volunteer, since 2015 she has travelled to the East of Ukraine with humanitarian aid to the military and medics.
